Privacy Policy – Painted Mini Stories

Painted Mini Stories is a mobile application created for miniature and model painting enthusiasts. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the GDPR (EU) and regulations related to children’s data protection.

1. Data Controller

At the basic stage of the application, we only collect the minimum necessary data, such as:

  3. data created by the user inside the app:
    1. projects,
    2. photos of miniatures,
    3. color markers,
    4. notes and project descriptions.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information such as name, address, phone number, or precise location, unless the user voluntarily provides it.

3. Children Under 13

The application may be used by children under the age of 13 only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

Data is processed in order to:

  1. ensure proper functioning of the application,
  2. save and manage user projects,
  3. improve and develop app features,
  4. enhance app quality,
  5. perform anonymous statistical analysis.

5. Payments and Premium Features (Future)

If payments, subscriptions, or Premium features are introduced in the future:

  1. payment processing will be handled by certified third-party providers (such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Stripe, etc.),
  2. Painted Mini Stories will not store or process any credit or debit card details,
  3. all financial data will be handled only by the payment providers,
  4. users will receive clear information about pricing and subscription terms.

For users under the age of 13, any payments will require the consent of a parent or legal guardian, in accordance with applicable laws.

6. Data Storage

Data is stored:

  1. locally on the user’s device, and/or
  2. on secure servers if cloud synchronization or user accounts are introduced in the future.

Data is retained only as long as necessary for the operation of the app or until the user deletes it.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Data may only be shared with:

  1. service providers necessary for operating the app (e.g. hosting, analytics),
  2. payment providers (if payments are introduced),
  3. authorities, if required by law.

8. User Rights

11. Email Collection and Newsletter (Website)

On the official project website: https://paintedministories.com/, users can subscribe to a newsletter.

Email addresses are collected only from users who voluntarily choose to sign up. The email subscription system is provided and managed by MailerLite ( https://www.mailerlite.com/).

This means that:

  1. email addresses are stored and processed by MailerLite,
  2. Painted Mini Stories does not store email addresses on its own servers,
  3. email data is used only for communication related to the project (news, updates, early access, announcements),
  4. users can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.

12. Email Addresses in the Application

Currently, the Painted Mini Stories mobile application itself does not collect, store, or process email addresses. All email collection is limited to the project website and handled exclusively by MailerLite.

If email-based accounts or login systems are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

13. Cookies on the Website

The website https://paintedministories.com uses standard cookies to:

  1. ensure proper functioning of the website,
  2. improve performance and user experience,
  3. support basic analytics.

Cookies do not collect personally identifiable information unless the user voluntarily provides it (for example via the newsletter form).

14. Analytics on the Website
